Founded by hospitality visionaries Executive Chef Sam Gorenstein and Pura Vida Miami Founder Omer Horev, this culinary gem brings the essence of Israel to Aventura and South Beach. Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen originated in March 2021 in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood and stands as a celebration of diverse culinary influences. Chef Gorenstein's expert touch fuses Latin flavors, while Horev's roots inspire a selection of mouthwatering Mediterranean dishes

The Men Behind the Name
Omer Horev, founder & CEO of Pura Vida Miami, the healthy all-day cafe concept with over 20 locations across South Florida & New York
Omer’s operational expertise and natural ability to identify real estate opportunities led him to expand his restaurant portfolio. Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Omer moved to Miami fifteen years ago and brings with him a palate for Mediterranean flavors as well as a passion for food and family
Samuel Gorenstein, the chef and creator behind My Ceviche and Zuuk
Formally trained as a chef with Michael Schwartz and naturally a cuisinier who started at a very young age in his mother’s kitchen. James Beard nominated for “Rising Star Chef”, Forbes listed as “30 under 30”, and named one of the “Top 5 Latino Chefs” by Poder Magazine alongside big names such as Jose Andres. After successfully developing two restaurants, taking a culinary trip through Israel, and welcoming a son, Sam took Miami on a Telavivian curated experience
